Ken Dretchen, Teacher of the Year

April 12, 2016

Dr Ken Dretchen, MSA Chief Science Officer, is in the final weeks of an illustrious career at Georgetown University. Ken is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at the School of Medicine and has to his credit untold accolades and awards. He is a former Dean and an accomplished scientist and administrator. However when Ken talks about his career he talks about his love of teaching. That love was on display on April 9 , 2016 when the second year medical students at Georgetown presented Ken with their Golden Apple Award. This award is given to the professor who the students see as the Outstanding Teacher of the Year. Quite an honor for a man closing out his career at Georgetown.  A teacher to the end. His colleagues at MSA are proud to say congratulations and we all know that he will continue on as a teacher for us all as he transitions to full time at the company. We are all proud of him.
