MSA Principal Dr. Dretchen Gives Commencement Speech at Georgetown University Medical Center

Dr. Kenneth Dretchen gave the Commencement Address on May 20, 2016 at Georgetown University to the students receiving their graduate degrees in programs residing at the Medical Center.  He stressed the importance of life long learning and keeping up with new technologies to ensure advancement in one’s career.  This will be especially true in the next decade as new methodologies are expected to proliferate.  As the former Dean for Research and Graduate Education he provided a history of the growth of the PhD and MS programs over the last 30 years.  He highlighted the programs in Biotechnology, Biohazardous Agents and Infectious Diseases as well as Pharmacology as being among the premier programs in the country.
