MSA Principals to Teach a Masters Level Course at Mount St. Mary’s University

Michael Mesa, MSA President, has been offered a post as Adjunct Professor at Mount St. Mary’s University (MSM) and will serve as a lead instructor for a course on Identification of Molecular Targets and Product Development. This course is offered by the University’s Department of Natural Science and Mathematics and is part of the University’s Master of Science Program. Mr. Mesa will be joined by MSA Chief Science Officer, Kenneth Dretchen PhD, MSA Vice President for Clinical Operations , Tim Warneke MS, and six other renowned scientists with varied backgrounds in Bio-Pharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical development. The course will consist of 8 lectures covering factors involving drug discovery, pre-clinical and clinical operations. The course will also include lectures on government interactions, chemistry manufacturing and controls, regulatory science along with lectures on quality and validation systems. Mr. Mesa stated that “ This is a great way for Mesa Science Associates to spread its wings in the Frederick community and to help promote the growth of life sciences in the Frederick area”. The 8 week course will begin in mid-March and will be taught at the Mount St. Mary’s Frederick Campus on Spectrum Drive.
